The Belta LPG Low-Pressure Regulator with Excess Flow Valve (EFV) is a safety-enhanced variant of our standard regulator, designed to provide safe, stable, and efficient gas flow for domestic, commercial, and small-scale LPG applications in Pakistan — now with built-in over current protection. With a 37 mbar outlet pressure and 1.5 kg/h propane capacity, it delivers consistent gas pressure for everyday cooking and heating needs, while the integrated EFV adds an extra layer of protection against gas leaks and hose damage.

Featuring a 21 mm clip-on connection with a G53 inlet, this regulator is designed for compatibility with standard BGC gas cylinders, including commonly used fiber and plastic LPG cylinders. This variant includes a ball check valve (Excess Flow Valve) fitted inside the regulator inlet. Under normal operation, gas flows freely through the regulator. If gas flow suddenly exceeds a safe threshold — for example, due to a cut, damaged, or disconnected hose — the EFV automatically closes to restrict gas flow, helping prevent uncontrolled gas release until the issue is resolved. The valve works through a ball mechanism inside the regulator inlet: under normal use, the ball rests clear of its seat and gas flows freely past it. If flow rate suddenly surges well above normal appliance demand — as happens when a hose is cut, ruptures, or pulls loose — the rushing gas lifts the ball up against its seat and seals it, cutting off gas supply almost instantly, within a fraction of a second of the fault occurring. Once the hose is repaired or reconnected, the regulator can be reset by closing the cylinder valve, waiting a few seconds, and slowly reopening it — this lets the ball drop back off its seat so gas flow resumes normally. This over current protection feature makes the regulator a safer choice for households and businesses concerned about hose damage or accidental disconnection.
